This is to let you know that there has been a change to the band’s line-up for their performances in 2026. 
Guitarist James Elkington will be joining Tortoise for the shows, replacing Jeff Parker, who is unable to perform due to strong personal reasons.
 
This is Jeff's official statement:
 
„Due to familial and professional obligations, I will not be touring with Tortoise in 2026. 
We are very fortunate to have the wonderful musician and longtime band friend, Jim Elkington filling in.“

James Elkington has worked with Tortoise frequently. 
The music and repertoire will remain the same, and all performances are going ahead as planned. 
The band is much looking forward to coming together with their European audiences after almost a decade.
