these pieces of music (Musik von Laurel Halo und Nite Jewell, BS) is exciting because it’s clear that both of
the people making them are impulsively writing what they want, without
strategising. It’s just coming out, thoughtful and well formed, but also with
so much soul. For 2013 I plan to maintain my optimistic belief that the
majority of people want to be allowed to experience their own music experience
in their vans, and not to be force-fed manipulative music.“
